Okay, lots of shit happened in this book:

Rand - Finally sane! At least, that's the only conclusion I can draw from his final POV. If that affects the sickness he feels when he embraces saidin isn't really said, but I'm inclined to think that it's not affected by his newfound lack of insanity. Personally, my guess is that he'll resolve that bit when the "three become one" prophecy dealing with Callandor comes into play. Anyone want to...

Was anyone else surprised by the way Egwene handled Elaida--I mean after reading it I totally get it, and I reckon my expectation that she'd slap Elaida down come in part out of the whole 'we need to finish this is one book' syndrome... but I did not see it at all.

I like it much more though. This was I see Egwene gaining Silviana and the BA Hunter Sitters. Much more involved and interesting.

That being said I'm still hoping for and Egwene/Elaida...

So Wendy was telling me the other day, Zack came partway down the stairs at about 10pm and says, "I do not sleep at night!" Her response is "Why" My son proceeds to come completely down the stairs and say "I am Batman!" and, of course, he is wearing a Batman mask. I cannot describe the amount of pride I have at how hilarious my four year old is.

Hey guys!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi! Soooooo much has been going on lately. I'm married now to a wonderful man named Paul. We've got a tiny little apartment in the East Village, where I've been living a barefoot Bohemian life for the last year or so. Not working has been super-fulfilling; housewifery has given me a chance to do lots of writing and generally catch up on the life I had missed out on, and gain just a bit of stability.

According to Brandon Sanderson's website he is 99% done with the first draft of Memory of Light. I think I'll begin my final re-read of the series ever after I finish with the Baroque Cycle (which should be soon). At the slow rate with which I will be able to read, when I finish, the final book should be out.

So excited about this, thou I don't have HBO.

"HBO has given the production order.
They will be filming the pilot episode of A GAME OF THRONES.
It's just the pilot so far. They'll need to see that before they decide whether to proceed with a full season's episodes. So let's all hope the pilot will kick serious ass.
It should. David Benioff and Dan Weiss did a terrific job with the script. And yes, all of you can relax, it's very faithful....
