Rand - Finally sane! At least, that's the only conclusion I can draw from his final POV. If that affects the sickness he feels when he embraces saidin isn't really said, but I'm inclined to think that it's not affected by his newfound lack of insanity. Personally, my guess is that he'll resolve that bit when the "three become one" prophecy dealing with Callandor comes into play. Anyone want to...

Egwene's Chapter (tGS Chapter 2 Spoilers)

Was anyone else surprised by the way Egwene handled Elaida--I mean after reading it I totally get it, and I reckon my expectation that she'd slap Elaida down come in part out of the whole 'we need to finish this is one book' syndrome... but I did not see it at all.

I like it much more though. This was I see Egwene gaining Silviana and the BA Hunter Sitters. Much more involved and interesting.

That being said I'm still hoping for and Egwene/Elaida...

According to Brandon Sanderson's website he is 99% done with the first draft of Memory of Light. I think I'll begin my final re-read of the series ever after I finish with the Baroque Cycle (which should be soon). At the slow rate with which I will be able to read, when I finish, the final book should be out.

You guys remember that book series?

I'm taking Ronin's example and listening to the audiobook of the series. I am already up to The Lord of Caos. I had forgotten how much I loved this book. Even the Nyn. and Elain parts don't seam as petty as they do in othere parts of the series. I get to listen at work so I will probly be through them within a month, but I can see how it would take a verry long time just listening during your comute. I am enjoying the whole experience thou. The voice work is verry good, and I am picking up...

Why Arad Doman?

Rand is setting his forces to get to Arad Doman. What I want to know is why? I have some thoughts on this. On my reread of KoD, I have been noticing that a lot of the Forsaken fall from their positions in this book. Mesaana is losing what little control she had of events in the Tower. Aran'gar is done with the rebels. Semirhage is gone from control of the Seanchan and Tuon is coming into her power. The only two who haven't really lost their positions that we know of is Demandred and Graendal....

This is a response i wrote to someone asking about the Seanchan assault on the Tower, and the role it will play in Tarmon gai'don... since i wasted like half an hour writing it i digured id put it here too.

Well for starters we know that the attack is about to happen. Galgan diverts all to'raken away from other jobs, which we see in effect through Tylee indicating final preperations are underway.

To'raken can carry 12 people, according to the BWB, and given that we know there...

I don't rightly know why i did this... i was bored one day and someone at dragonmount asked me to.

It's looking like the major generals in play will be Mat, Inturalde, Bryne, Galgan and probably some of the Aiel Clan Chiefs.

I exclude Bashere because increasingly its looking like he is going to die. Perhaps Algemar will play a key part too.

I really want to reread this series. I used to love these books, but the last few books, (excluding the last one) has left a sour taste in my mouth. So I am going to go back to my first true love.

It took me forever to read, but I did actually enjoy it. What I enjoyed most about it is that it seemed to be a great setup to TG and the last book. What really sent shivers down my spine is the scene with Lan and Nynaeve. She sent him on a mission and then she set things in motion by visiting the different cities to recruit men to join Lan. I thought that was one of RJ's better written chapters.

And now I truly love Nynaeve! She's awesome. What I most like about her is that as...
