Actually she is in the hospital, since we haven't gone home yet. (hospital has free wifi) Alana and the baby are sleeping right now, so I'm catching up on my internets. She was born on Saturday (May 3) at 8:23. She was only 6lbs 13oz, but she was 20 inches long (so she's skinny) Childbirth is kind of a gross and messy business. I'm working on teaching her high-fives. here's a pic:

As far as the eyes, they aren't black, they are blue, but you can't see because the flash on my camera is blindingly bright therefore I couldn't use it. And newborns are very alien looking in general, I've always thought.
