I've been listening to the Wheel of Time unabridged audio books in my car since the middle of December. I have a long-ish commute and so I listen to an hour or more every weekday. Thus far.. I'm about halfway through the Shadow Rising (Rand just became "He who comes with the Dawn"). At this rate, maybe the series will last me until Memory of Light is finished. (well, maybe not that long)
Anyway.. listening to the books, you get alot of details that you might miss while reading.. and I've come to the conclusion that if they ever turn the Wheel of Time series into a movie series.. there are certain scenes that ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO BE CUT OUT BECAUSE THEY WOULD LOOK INCREDIBLY STUPID.
Scenes I've noticed so far:
1)Bubble of Evil: Mat fights playing cards
2)Bubble of Evil: Rand fights Mirror Rands (mostly because this will look like a rip off of "Army of Darkness"
3)Bubble of Evil: Perrin fights with axe.
Seriously.. that whole section of Shadow Rising was cheesy as hell.
Anyone else have "least appealing visually" scenes they'd like to comment on?
